Custom Woodwork Design

John has been working with wood for almost 40 years in some form or another.  Early on he got a job as a framing carpenter but was quickly moved to doing finish work.  He was hooked.  Seeing that finished product...something tangible created, was very satisfying.  Due to economic reasons, he did change careers after a handful of years but continued to create with wood.  Tables, bookcases, turnings or other items asked for by friends and family.  John's most recent and challenging pieces are sculpted rocking chairs inspired by Sam Maloof.
